The Education sector use website/careers sites to attract candidates and rely heavily on Professional Social Networks (77%) as a recruiting tool.

Which sourcing channels work best in education?

When we look at how recruiters in the Education sector are succeeding with talent attraction the Sourcing Quadrant provides an at a glance view. Having a great careers site is one of the ways to attract a decent quantity and quality of candidates. However, ATS/CRM tools and Employee Referrals are delivering a decent level of quality candidates but less quantity - which could assist with a sector challenge of too many applicants.

Other channels, like Specialist Job Boards has seen increased use (56%) and improved ranking for high quality and quantity of candidates. Compare this to Social Media, used by 52% in the Education sector, but under performs in attracting and nurturing candidates.
